Our Founder’s Story
Some stories begin with a recipe. Ours began with a moment.
In 1999, Jenny was living in France when a group of fellow Singaporeans gathered in a cosy kitchen, swapping recipes and laughter late into the night. That evening, someone brought out a dessert she had never tasted before, layers of coffee-soaked sponge, cloud-light mascarpone, and a dusting of cocoa. It was love at first taste for Jenny.
What started as curiosity quickly became a quiet obsession. Jenny spent months in her little French kitchen, experimenting with textures, balancing flavours, and perfecting the harmony of bitter, sweet, and creamy. Her husband became her most loyal taste-tester, patiently sampling batch after batch. With his encouragement, her Tiramisu, later named Jennymisu, soon became the highlight of their gatherings. Each creation was made with the same care, joy, and love, a sweet gesture to the people she cherished most.
Years later, back in Singapore, Jenny found herself returning to that recipe not just for the taste, but for the memories it held: the clinking of spoons, the warmth of company, the way one dessert could bring people together. Today, Jennymisu is her way of sharing that feeling with you.
